Junior S. Quesenberry, Age 88 Craftsman, Musician and Friend to All. On November 24, 2020, Junior Quesenberry went home to be with the Lord and free from suffering from Dementia and COVID 19. For the last couple years he had been residing at Inova Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Leesburg along with his wife of nearly 70 years Mary Louise Quesenberry.

Mr. Quesenberry was an accomplished musician and craftsman. He could build or fix most anything from small to large. He not only could play the guitar, fiddle, and mandolin or play an organ but could also make and repair string instruments. The Loudoun Museum would from time to time get an instrument, piece of wooden furniture in disrepair and send it to Junior to restore. He also built outdoor structures from residential remodeling to restoring old log structures such as bank barns with failing foundations. Mr. Quesenberry restored several old historic structures that still stand today. Mr. Quesenberry was born in Lucketts, VA and resided there most of his life. He quit school in the six grade to help save his father's farm when his dad grew ill. What he lacked in formal education he excelled in hands on experience and common sense. He was a fix it man. He grew up in a large family of nine children and as a child was sent to work on other farms for 10 cents a day. He was no stranger to hard work and expected the same from everyone he worked with. Mr. Quesenberry not only enjoyed music but was an avid hunter, fisherman and loved NASCAR.

He is survived by his wife Mary (Louise) Quesenberry, Sons; Randall Quesenberry (wife Nellie), Kevin Quesenberry, Sisters; Lorraine Loy, Boyds MD. And Edna Frye, Leesburg, Va. Four Grandchildren; James Scott Quesenberry, Zachary Quesenberry, Jeffery Quesenberry, Jennifer Aufdenberg and one step grandson George David Lee. Four great grandchildren and two step grandchildren. Services will be held at Colonial Funeral Home on Monday, November 30, 2020, at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Ron Owens presiding. Viewing is at 10:00 a.m. and attendance is limited to 25 because of COVID 19.

Graveside services and internment will be held at Lovettsville Union Cemetery 12930 Lutheran Church Rd. Lovettsville, Va. Following the chapel service.
