Born on April 26, 1947, to Delbert and Dona Mae Corlee, Karen was raised with strong values, a kind heart, and a deep sense of service. In 1969, she married the love of her life, Theodore Baker, in El Reno, Oklahoma. Together they built a life centered on love, laughter, and family.

Her leadership, encouragement, and countless hours of service positively impacted many young lives and reflected her generous spirit.
In 2013, Karen and Theodore relocated to Leesburg, where she embraced her role as a proud grandmother. Her family meant everything to her, and she treasured every moment spent with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Theodore Baker; her brother, Daniel Corlee; her children, Ted Baker and his wife, Min, and Juliye Wood and her husband, Dean; as well as her five cherished grandchildren: Mason W., Zoe W., Benjamin B., Spencer W., and Daniel B.
