Katherine Poterba passed away on December 31, 2021.  She grew up in Brooklyn, NY. She was the oldest daughter of an immigrant Italian family. Katherine attended Hunter College in New York and married Alexander Poterba. They are survived by three children, Michael, Paula, and Nina; five grandchildren and one great granddaughter.
