Kazuo Nisakawa of Leesburg, Virginia passed away on August 19, 2012. Mr. Nisakawa was 87 years old. Born in Kaneohe, Hawaii, he was the son of parents Nisuke and Haya (Matsumiya) Nisakawa. Mr. Nisakawa proudly served his country in the United States Army; acheiving the rank of Staff Sargeant. While serving he earned such decorations and citations as the Good Conduct Medal, Asiatic Pacific Ribbon, WWII Victory Medal and the American Theater Ribbon.

Along with those who will cherish his memories are his wife, Jayne and son, Allen.

A graveside service is scheduled for Wednesday, October 24, 2012 starting at 11:00 a.m. at Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, VA.
