Kenneth Pearson, 82

Kenneth Stanley Pearson, 82, passed away on July 15, 2021, in Shenandoah Junction, WV.

Mr. Pearson was born March 16, 1939, in Youngstown, OH, to Stanley and Elsie Pearson.

Kenneth grew up primarily in Ohio, but also spent several years in Arizona. While attending the Baptist Bible College in Springfield, MO he met and married his wife Rita Langley on May 21, 1971. After finishing his studies, Kenneth was ordained and served at churches across several states including New York and Virginia. Eventually Kenneth settled in Virginia where he spent the majority of his working days in the banking industry. Upon his retirement in 2017, Kenneth moved to Shenandoah Junction, WV.

Even after leaving full-time ministry, Kenneth remained active in church through choir, song leading, and visitation ministries.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Rita; three sons Jonathan, James, and Joseph, daughter-in-laws Tina and Cheryl, seven grandchildren Jack, Sean, Ethan, Julia, Colin, Ellie, and Kate, and his sister Nancy.

A memorial service will be held for Kenneth on Saturday July 24th at 11 AM at Faithway Baptist Church in Leesburg, VA.
