Kenneth (Ken) Allen Roberts, 62, passed away on Wednesday January 1, 2020. There will be a visitation on Saturday, January 4, 2020 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, followed by a Celebration of Life at 11:00 am at the Colonial Funeral Home of Leesburg (201 Edwards Ferry Rd., NE, Leesburg, VA  20176).

Ken was born October 2, 1957 in Columbus, OH to Frank Allen Roberts and Marilyn Joy Roberts.

From a very young age, Ken found the humor in life. An eternal joker, he was always the one to invent the next prank to pull on his family. In addition to his sense of humor, he was incredibly intelligent. Ken loved to take apart things just to put them back together again. From cars to computers, he had a passion to figure out how things worked. His intellect and passion enabled him to obtain a Summa Cum Laude in Engineering at the University of Cincinnati and to a life time career in Engineering. Since retiring in 2018, Ken enjoyed his days taking long walks with his yellow lab Nelson and learning about the world through documentaries.

He is survived by his parents Frank Allen Roberts and wife Deborah, and Marilyn Joy Roberts; his beloved wife of 25 years, Yang Weng; his daughter FayFay Leuck and husband Jason; grandson Ryder Leuck; sister Kathleen Monk and husband Art, brother Christopher Roberts and wife Carol; foster sister Paula Drake; nieces Lacie Zoller and husband Zachary, Natalie Gamble and husband Terry, Lindsey Roberts, Melanie Perez, and Sarah Gonzalez; nephews Andre Klugel, Alex Perez, Phillip Roberts, Derek Drake and Nathan Gonzalez.

Ken always had a soft spot in his heart for those in need. In lieu of flowers, we welcome you to make donations on his behalf to the National Alliance to End Homelessness.
