On Saturday , October 23rd , 2021 ; Kristen Marie Clausen-Wagner , 45 , p a ssed away suddenly but surrounded by her children in her last moments .
Kristen was born on December 1st , 1975 in Erie, PA to David G. Clausen and Jeanne L. Schulz . Kristen , in childhood , enjoyed her trips to the beach in Erie , PA ; with her father , mother , and brother . Her brother remembers having breakfast on the beach and sharin g many laughs. She enjoyed shopping with friends in her teens and was a loyal friend to many ; with many of those friendships that lasted a lifetime .
Kristen always wanted to be a mother and her children are evident of her su cc ess . She was a mother to cats as well , Tinker, Kitty , and "Big" Lu; who she loved dearly, S h e is remembered by her children to be an incredible mother who would put their needs even above her own . They will all miss her and will be forever thankful for her , raising them to be the adults that they are all today .
She is survived by her husband of 1 8 years , Lawrence E . Wagner , three daughters Christy , Caitlin , and Ashley; and her one son Brandon . Her Mother Jeanne , stepfather Mike , and brother David; her two beautiful grandchildren Leonardo and Avianna , will all miss her and hon or her memory for many generations now and to come . She joins her father David G . Clausen in heaven as an angel to watch over her family.
Kristen was a hardworking and kind soul , who would give away her last dollar to anyone who was in need . As an avid animal lover her whole life she's had many animals . She loved having fun and loved music . She would frequent bunkers in Leesburg on Mondays and sing karaoke with her friends . Her kids reminisce about all the times their mother played kick ball with them as children and every laugh that was shared .
Kristen loved her tattoos and would always be excited getting a new one . Some noteable tattoos: a four leaf clover on her neck , curious George on her ankle for her daughter , and a life tree on her back shoulder . Her love for her children and tattoos were captured in a tattoo on her arm of her children ' s name in their consecutive order of bi rth .
Kristen worked at giant food for a majority of h er professional life; Giving 22 years to the company with about 7 of those years as a bakery manager. Her co-workers would say she was funny , hardworking and always kind and understanding .
Her memorial service and burial will be held on Wednesday , December 1st 2021 at Saint John's Catholic Church at 11:00 am and burial will follow at Union Cemetery in Leesburg , VA .
