January 5, 1949 – July 14, 2022

On Thursday, July 14 ^th , Lee John Fishkin, of Ashburn Virginia, died at home with his beloved wife by his side. Loved by all who knew him, he is survived by his wife of 32 years, Karen Fishkin; his three daughters, Emily Feenstra (Paul), Jennifer O'Rourke (Chris), and Colleen Coffeen (William); and five grandchildren, Grace, Vivian, Pearse, Madeline, and Elise. He was a devoted sibling to his brother Dan Fishkin (Olympia Hand) and sister Joelle Fishkin (Stephen Turchen), and he is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Born in Fort Monmouth, New Jersey, he spent several years of his childhood living near Paris, France, and spent many summers in Hasparren, France, his mother's childhood home, where he developed a strong bond with his French family that he maintained and nurtured throughout his life. A graduate of Gonzaga College High School in Washington, DC, he graduated college from the University of Virginia and turned his passion for travel into a successful 40-year career handling international sales for several major tire distributors. He developed an extensive network of colleagues across the world who remained close over decades. Lee John was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather and his gentle soul and joie de vivre left a lasting impression.

A funeral Mass will be held Saturday, August 6th at 12:30pm at St. John the Apostle Catholic Church, 101 Oakcrest Manor Drive NE, Leesburg, Va.
