Lewis Harris Waters, Jr., of Potomac Falls, Virginia, passed away on November 2, 2023. Lewis is survived by his wife, LoriAnn, his daughters Ansley and her husband Daniel, Grace, and Laurel, his sister Cindy and her husband Sterling, his brother-in-law Chris and his wife Susan, his mother-in-law Virginia and her husband Joe, and many other loving family members.

Lewis was the son of the late Lewis Harris Waters, Sr., and the late Anna Harley Waters. He was born in Poughkeepsie, New York on November 3, 1969, and spent the majority of his life in Northern Virginia.

Lewis was a loving, dedicated husband and father. He was an innovative entrepreneur in technology and consulting, having been a reliable partner and leader for multiple businesses. Lewis was an alumnus of James Madison University where he earned his BBA in Accounting and Virginia Tech where he earned his MBA in Finance. Lewis was a lifelong learner who enjoyed reading, woodworking, skiing, hunting, and being at the beach with friends and family. He served as a board member for the Benedictine Sisters of Virginia and the James Madison University College of Business.

Lewis' family have chosen to honor him with a Celebration of Life at The Villa Smith Farmette. The Farmette holds many happy memories for Lewis throughout his lifetime. Please stop in between 1:00 – 5:00PM* on Saturday, November 11. Be sure to dress for the elements and occasion: a most lovely, casual outdoor bonfire gathering.
