Lida Jeanne Henderson, 77, of Leesburg, VA, passed away Thursday, November 10, 2022, at INOVA Loudoun Hospital.

Lida leaves behind her beloved son, Peter John Henderson and wife Jenny McCauley Henderson of Martinsburg, WV, a sister Anne Struczewski of Rochester, NY, and multiple friends that Lida loved very dearly.  She also leaves behind a very special family, Claudia Carvajal and Fernando Ceballos and daughter, Valeria.

She is preceded in death by her beloved mother Kathryn Macqueen Henderson and father John Robert Henderson of Penfield, NY, and brother Alan M. Henderson of Upper Montclair, NJ.  Lida lived a life full of accomplishments including co-authoring the book The Leadership Odyssey: A Self-Development Guide to New Skills for New Times , with life-long friend and colleague Carole S. Napolitano.  She also ran a very successful mobile dog grooming business, Dogs on Wheels, that serviced Leesburg and local surrounding areas.  Lida was a beautiful and brilliant woman and we will forever carry her in our hearts.

Lida wished to be cremated and her ashes will be later interred in Chili, NY, beside her parents this Christmas.
