Linda Schlipper's Obituary
Linda M. Schlipper, 69, of Reston, Virginia passed away on December 10, 2014. She was born November 10, 1945 in Arlington, Virginia to parents Donald E. and Virginia (Beale) Murray. She graduated from Mary Washington College with a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry and later obtained a Masters Degree from the University of Maryland pertaining to Information Technology. Always an avid learner, she spent her retirement years pursuing such personal interests as drawing, genealogy, historical lectures, and reading The New York Times.
Her sister Carol Saunders and brother-in-law Kenneth of Lovettsville, VA, niece Lisa Murray of Columbus, OH, and nephew Michael Murray of Somerville, MA survive her.
Family will receive friends on December 16, 2014 from 10:00am to 11:00am at Colonial Funeral Home of Leesburg, 201 Edwards Ferry Rd., Leesburg, VA 20176. Graveside service will follow at 12:00pm at National Memorial Park, Falls Church, VA.
