Logan Chase Kuney, 21, of Leesburg Virginia, passed away on Tuesday, April 13, 2021.  Logan was born in Leesburg on November 12, 1999 to Gretchen (Homan) Kuney and Donald Kuney. He attended Douglas High School.  Logan enjoyed spending time with his friends and family and was passionate about helping people, animals & nature.  He loved being in the outdoors and enjoyed riding ATVs, skateboarding, long boarding, snowboarding, hiking, music, fishing, kayaking, hunting and camping.

Logan was a kind, generous, and caring soul.  His memory will forever be cherished by his mother Gretchen Kuney, father Donald Kuney and Joy King; his brother Carver Kuney & girlfriend Sarah Bellman; his grandparents John and Sakisa Homan, his grandfather Fred Kuney; his aunts / uncles Aunt B. and Justin Smith, Fred and Deb Kuney, Tom Kuney, and Pat and Katrinka Kuney; and cousins Emily and Dylan Smith, Mike and Leanne Kenny, Brandon Kuney, and Teagan and Phobe Kuney.  Logan is preceded in death by grandparents Julia Kuney and Carol Homan and his aunt Julie Kenny,

There will be a celebration of Logan's life on April 24 at the Colonial Funeral home which is located at 201 Edwards Ferry Road NE, Leesburg, Virginia 20176.  Visitation will begin at 11 AM with a Service following at the funeral home at 12 PM.  These services may be live-streamed at colonialfuneralhome.com.  Given current Covid restrictions, there will be a limit of 50 people inside the funeral home at any one time.  The family is planning to welcome friends and family immediately following the Service at the Leesburg Volunteer Company, 215 Loudoun St. SW, Leesburg, VA.
