Lois Jane Frankenfield Barbini
Age 72, of Leesburg Virginia passed away Sunday February 23, 2014. She was born on July 14, 1941 in Mt. Top, Pennsylvania to Margaret Moyer Frankenfield and Charles Frankenfield. After graduating from Fairview High School she went on to attend and graduate from West Chester College with a degree in Health and Physical Education. She taught physical education at Coughlin High School in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania for three years. She married Barry Barbini on May 27, 1967. They settled down in New Jersey where Lois taught physical education for two years at Boonton High School. After having her two children Lois became a full time working mom at home.

Lois is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Lois owned Catoctin Sports for eighteen years before officially retiring. She has always been the CEO for the Barbini Family and will be greatly missed.

Lois is survived by her husband, Barry Barbini, son Eric Barbini, daughter Susan Barbini and the absolute joys of her life, her grandchildren, Christina Barbini, daughter of Susan Barbini and Lee, Trevor and Zachery Barbini, sons of Eric and Janet Barbini.

The viewing will be Thursday February 27, 2014 from 6 to 9pm at the Colonial Funeral Home, 201 Edwards Ferry Rd NE, in Leesburg Virginia 20176. There will be an additional viewing Friday February 28, 2014 from 9 to 10am at the Colonial Funeral Home. The funeral Service will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints on Balls Bluff Road (801 Balls Bluff Rd NE)in Leesburg Virginia commencing at 10:30 am. Graveside service will immediately follow in Union Cemetery, Leesburg, Virginia.
