Lynda Michaelis, 72, of Sharpsburg, Maryland passed away peacefully on September 19, 2024 surrounded by the love of her family.
Born in Queens, New York to parents Gilberto and Consuelo Ramos (both deceased) she grew up in Brentwood New York. She was a devoted mother to her 4 children and loving Gigi to 15 grandchildren and enjoyed many hobbies including knitting, gardening, cooking and building dollhouses. She loved cross stitching while watching football or hockey games on tv as much as she loved basking in the sun on the beach. Lynda will be remembered for her beautiful wedding cakes and delicious Thanksgiving Pies. As a graduate from Salem University with a degree in Molecular Biology/Chemistry Lynda worked at the National Institute of Health and Axlerator Inc. for many years. Her work ethic is unmatched as she tirelessly continued to attend meetings and worked remotely even from her hospital bed. Lynda's absence will be felt by many as she had friends and family throughout the world.
Lynda's family includes her 4 sons, Ronnie Rivera, Adam (Colleen) Rivera, David (Melanie) Forster, John Paul (Barbara) Alley; grandchildren Sarah, Mia, Adam David, Aaden, Kai, Adia, Lilah, Quinn, Hunter, Braylen, Kambria, Dominik, Colvin, Levander (deceased) Madix; sisters Joyce (Ramon) Avila, Consuelo (Mark) Ramos de DeYesso; brothers Raymond Ramos (deceased), Wade (Jackie) Clark, Michael Rogers and many nieces and nephews.
A service celebrating Lynda's Life will be held on October 3rd, 2024 from 1pm - 3pm at Bobwhite Pavilion at Seneca Creek State Park, Maryland.
