IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Lynn
Giambalvo
March 29, 1968 – December 14, 2024
Surrounded in abundant love, Lynn Holender Giambalvo, 56, a beloved mother, sister, daughter, and aunt, passed away peacefully on December 14, 2024, in Fredericksburg, Virginia, after a long-fought battle with Breast Cancer.
Lynn was born on March 29, 1968, the daughter of Arthur Holender and Virginia Salamanca, in Dover, New Jersey. She was the epitome of selflessness, always putting others first as a devoted mother, a tireless advocate for her family, and a source of endless care, joy, and love to all who knew her.
Lynn's greatest joy and accomplishment was her family. She dedicated her life to being a present and exceptionally caring mother, which made her love unparalleled and rare. Some of her last words to her family were words you would hear very frequently throughout her life, which were, 'I love you.'
Some of her most cherished memories were cheering on the Florida Gators, attending her children's sporting events and dance recitals, celebrating holidays with her family, and laughing with her dearest friends. She was always full of laughter and light, while often singing along to her favorite '80s classic rock hits.
Her passing leaves a profound void in the hearts of all who knew her, yet her positive light will continue to inspire and guide us. Her laughter, her vibrant love of life, and her gift for making everyone feel cherished will be deeply missed but forever remembered.
Lynn was preceded in death by her father, Arthur Holender. She is survived by her mother, Virginia Salamanca, her children; Emma and Tyler Giambalvo. Lynn's sister, Julie Smith, and brother-in-law, Reed Smith, along with their children, Tripp and Charlotte Smith, also carry on her legacy. Her family, united by love and remembrance, will forever cherish the impact she made on their lives.
