Her children are Patricia E. (Billy-deceased) Rutter of Paeonian Springs, VA.; James E. (June) Everhart of Radford, VA.; Jeanne E. (Ray) Phillipson (both deceased) of Ivonhoe, CA.; Ronnie (Linda) Everhart of Shepherdstown, W.V.; Calvin Barrett (Peggy) Everhart of Leesburg, VA.

Margie married Thomas P. Fleming, May 11, 1971 who passed March 24, 1986.

Margie had 9 grandchildren, Wendy K. Simpson of Ashburn, VA.; Melissa A. (Bryan) Moser of Ashburn, VA.; James E. (April) Everhart of Pulaski, VA.; Anne E. (Robert) Helms of Pulaski, VA.; Danielle and Thomas Phillipson of Ivonhoe, CA.; Mark Everhart of Shepherdstown, W.V.; Jon (Danielle) Everhart of Leesburg, VA.; and Brian (Cassie) Everhart of Bluemont, VA.

Margie had 11 great-grandchildren, Patrick (Iris) Simpson; Kerrie (Alex) Stanley; Andrew (Allison) Simpson; Allison (Caleb) Scott; Kelley (Michael) Hamblin; James III (Danica) Everhart; Ashley Helms; Devon (Brianne) Everhart; Collin and Dylan Everhart; Olivia Everhart and 1 great-great grandson; Edward Simpson.

She loved history, searching out genealogy, crocheting, knitting, sewing, needlwork of all kinds and many other crafts.
