Maria, known as Nena by her friends, was born in Quito Ecuador December 31, 1929. She met and married a "gringo" as she used to say, John Joseph Lindsay, in Quito and gave birth to two boys there, James Thomas and Robert Patrick. After moving to the US, she also gave birth to two girls, Carmen Maria and Cristina Maria. She is survived by all 4 of her children and her grandchildren, Jessica, Justin, Erica, Joesph, Tiffany, Savanna, Sarah, Nicole and Amanda and her sister Paulina Pate. Predeceased are her loving John Lindsay, her Brothers Juan Roca and Raul Roca, her two grandchildren, Jackie Lindsay and Jon Khachi. She was a loving wife, mother and friend , kind to all…she will be missed. Services are planned at Fort Myer Chapel in Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
