Maria F. Rivas

Maria Rivas passed away October 8, 2019 after a valiant battle with cancer at the age of 64 years young.  She was surrounded in her last days by family and friends and her dear Granddaughter Lubidia Elizabeth.

Maria was a loving caregiver and looked after everyone that came across her path.   She was a nurturing soul from beginning to end.  She loved to cook for her family and take care of her flowers and plants.  Maria was a hard worker, and instilled that in everyone that she came across.

She was the beloved wife of Juan Esteban Rivas for 47 years, devoted mother to her children, Juan (and his wife Ana), Ricardo (and his wife Mirian), Esteban (and his wife Belky) and Lubidia.  A loving grandmother to her grandchildren, Lubidia Elizabeth, Suzanna, Malissa, Jalissa, Hailie, Dominic, Margie, Gaby, Lucas, Mateo, Sofia, Genesis, Emma, Lisbeth and Juan Junior.  As well as a loving great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to many.

Family will receive friends and family on Friday October 11, 2019 from 11 am to 12 pm at St. Theresa Catholic Church for visitation, where a mass will be held at 12:00 pm.  Interment to follow at Chestnut Grove Cemetery.
