Mary L. Ashby, 65, of Fairfax, Virginia passed away on November 18, 2012. She was born in 1947 in Washington, D.C. Mary made others feel good about themselves while working as a hairdresser.

Left behind to cherish her memories are her children Paul Myers of Fairfax, Virginia and Tina Baker of Fredericksburg, Virginia; sisters Julie Cooper and Rebekah Pathivana both of Leesburg, Virginia and her brother Roger Malick of Deltaville,Virginia and her 3 grandchildren.

Family will receive friends on Monday, November 26, 2012 between the hours of 10:30 a.m. and 12:00 noon at the Colonial Funeral Home, 201 Edwards Ferry Rd NE, Leesburg, VA 20176. A service will immediately follow starting at noon at the funeral home where the Reverend Steve Hayes will be officiating. Burial will take place in Union Cemetery, Leesburg, VA.
