Mary Catherine Frye passed away at home on August 31, 2021.

She was born and raised in Loudoun County, Virginia on March 25, 1939.  Mary was the daughter of Horace Lee Gant and Alice Robey Gant.

Mary enjoyed chatting with family and friends and she was a very giving person making sure her family was taken care of.

Mary is survived by her daughter Joyce Ann Newman (George), one brother Lawrence Gant, grandson David Allen Frye (Tanya), seven great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.

She is pre-deceased by her husband, Kenneth Victor Frye and her siblings Gertrude, Ruth, Charles, John Henry, Horace Robey, Paul, Randy, Robert and Walter Gant.

Interment will be at Furnace Mountain Cemetery.  Due to COVID, a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
