Obituary
Mary is from Annandale VA. She is survived by her son Dr. Leonard William Ward and two grandchildren LCPL Cameron Michael and Kimberly Michelle. Mary was a retired Civil Service Employee. She served as a Financial Analyst for the Department of the Navy for more than 30 years. Painting, crocheting and gardening were among Mary's favorite pastimes. She had a passion for collecting roosters and had collected more than 100. She was a devoted Catholic and prayed the rosary every night.
A graveside service has been scheduled for Wednesday, January 9, 2012 at the Fort Myer Chapel in Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Virginia starting at 2:00 p.m.
