Mary Leete Fox, 40, of Leesburg, Virginia, died peacefully in her sleep on Tuesday, February 12, 2008, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

She was born on May 7, 1967 to Molly Adams Leete and the late Mortimer U. Leete, Jr. Mary was a graduate of New Hanover High School and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a degree in education. She received her Masters degree at the University of Virginia. She taught school for 12 years and was most happy when working with children.

Mary had many interests. But her greatest pleasure in life was spending time with her husband and children. She was a woman of faith, a devout Christian, who lived what she believed, demonstrated by her love and concern for those she met.

She is survived by her loving family: husband Jason, daughter Mary Claire (Molly) and son Phillip Nathaniel of Leesburg, VA, stepson Michael of McKinney, Texas, mother Molly Adams Leete of Wilmington, NC, sister Elizabeth Leete of Duluth, GA, and brother John Leete and his wife Trang, of Huntington Beach, CA.

She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

There will be an inurnment on Tuesday, June 10, 2008 at 1:00 pm in Arlington National Cemetery.
