V. May Hargreaves of Leesburg, Virginia, formally of Washington, D.C. died Friday, September 14, 2012 at Sunrise of Countryside in Sterling, Virginia.
She was born in Altoona, Pennsylvania; the daughter of the late William and Anna (Pearl) Streight. She married Bert Hargreaves who died on October 10, 1961. Her long term companion, Charles Davis, passed away February 17, 2012. She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Leora Shay and Eva Streight.
Surviving are nieces Deborah Pallanez, Becky Mortensen and Diane Haardt; and great, great, great nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to the Colonial Funeral Home, 201 Edwards Ferry Rd NE, Leesburg, VA 20176 on Wednesday, September 19, 2012 for a time of visitation between 10:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. where a service will immediately follow starting at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in Columia Gardens, 3411 Arlington Blvd Arlington, VA.
