Maynard Yocum Binge, 88, passed away on September 28, 2008. Mr. Binge lived in Potomac Falls, Virginia with his wife, Audrey.
Mr. Binge was born on January 20, 1920 in Galva, Illinois to the late Glen R. and Kathrine A. (Yocum) Binge.
Lieutenant Colonel Maynard Binge was a retired pilot from the USAF. While in active service, he did a tour of duty in Viet Nam.
After retirement he became involved in ballroom dancing. And, to the amazement of all, discovered he was a beautiful dancer and thoroughly enjoyed it.
He and his wife also spent their free time pursuing their love in antiquing.
Mr. Maynard leaves behind to honor his memories his loving wife, Audrey and children Kay B. Haskins and Gary L. Binge both of Springfield, Virginia and a brother, Willard Binge of Springfield, Missouri. He was predeceased by his sister, Oma Leet.
A service will be held Tuesday, January 13, 2009 starting at 11:00 a.m. at the Fort Myer Chapel at Arlington National Cemetery.
