Merilane Evelyn Johnson 60, of Ashburn, VA passed away on June 9, 2008. Left behind to carry on her memories are her husband Kenn A. Johnson and daughter Stacy Johnson, both of Ashburn, VA. Mrs. Johnson is also survived by her brothers, Reverend James Thacker of Manassas, VA and Terry Thacker of Alexandria, VA.

The daughter of the late James and Mary (Rasmus) Thacker, Mrs. Johnson was born in Alexandria, VA. She was employed by the US Airways working as the Director of Station Resources for 37 years.

Friends may visit with the family on Thursday, June 12, 2008 between the hours of 5:00 pm and 8:00 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. A service will be held on Friday, June 13, 2008 starting at 11:00 am . Interment will follow at the Chestnut Grove Cemetery in Herndon, VA.
