Michael Keefe Hughitt on Sunday, June 30, at his home in Haymarket, VA, passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer.
Beloved husband of Gabriele Hughitt, father of Keith Michael
Hughitt and Liza Gabrielle Trace, devoted granddad to Michael, Madison, and Harrison.

He is also survived by his sister Ann, brothers Chuck, Chris,
Jerry and Jay and many other cherished family members.

Born on January 4, 1946 in Washington DC, he lived in the
Northern Virginia area most of his life. He served in the US Army
in 1966/1967 where he met and married his wife in the romantic
town of Heidelberg, Germany.

Family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 10, 2013 from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Colonial Funeral Home in Historic Leesburg, VA (201 Edwards Ferry Rd NE, Leesburg, VA 20176) where a celebration of his life will follow starting at 6:00 P.M.
