Michael Salem passed away on June 12, 2013 while residing at Heritage Hall in Leesburg, Virginia. Michael passed away just 9 days before his 95th birthday. Born in Utica, New York, he was the son of the late Kosc and Paulina (Garulia) Salamacha. A veteran, he proudly served his country in the United States Army. Michael and his wife, Gloria, made their home in Waterford, Virginia. He worked as a clothes presser for the Bond Clothing Company.

While Michael will be dearly missed, his memories will continue to live on in the family and friends who knew and loved him. A private family service will be held at a later time.
