Michiko Beall (nee Ohtsuka), 72, of Charles Town, West Virginia died peacefully with her husband at her side on the morning of Saturday April 16, 2016.

Michiko, originally from Japan, came to America on a sightseeing trip and decided to stay. While living in the Washington DC area, Michiko met Donald E. Beall and they began a life together that would span over 42 years. Together they raised two wonderful children Margaret and Michael. With her self-sufficient and hardworking nature she also dreamed of a rewarding career. She decided on becoming a cosmetologist and after graduating from the Acri Beauty School, she began that rewarding career which resulted in her owning her own salon in Leesburg, VA. After more than 30 years, she accomplished professional respect and gained many good friends.

Michiko loved going to the beach, tending to her garden, laughing with friends, and spending time with family. She was a loyal daughter, loving wife, mother to two children, obaa-chan to a sweet granddaughter, and a trusted friend to many. Michiko will always be remembered for her love and caring devotion to her family and friends. She will be missed greatly and her memory will be cherished forever.

A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held on Sunday, May 1, 2016, at 2 p.m., at Mt. Hope Baptist Church, 42507 Mt. Hope Road, Ashburn, VA 20148.
