Mildred L. Hoskinson, born February 8, 1911 in Herndon, Virginia passed away on June 13, 2009. She was the youngest child of the late blacksmith Joseph E. and homemaker Florence A (Myers) Moffett. In 1919 the family moved to Ashburn, Virginia where she lived until 1937 when she married the late C. Lee Hoskinson. In 1938 Barcroft in Arlington, Virginia became their home. In 1988 she moved to Leesburg where she lived until her death. Precedants also include her siblings: W. Henry Moffett; Alma G. Atwell; Lillie M. Darnes; J. LaRoy Moffett; Charles A. Moffett and Pearl A. Armour. She is survived by her children: Gary L. Hoskinson of Falls Church, Virginia and Linda H. Boten of Durham, North Carolina; five nieces, many great nephews and nieces, numerous great, great nephews and nieces and several great, great, great nephews and nieces. Visitation will be at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 18, 2009 with the funeral at 11:00 a.m. at Colonial Funeral Home. Interment will be at 1:30 p.m. at Oakwood Cemetery, Roosevelt Street, Falls Church, Virginia.
