Obituary

Mildred Virginia Saunders born in Wheatland Virginia to W. Perry and Lourie F. Lambert passed away peacefully in her sleep at Heritage Hall. She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Harry B. Saunders, brothers Emory Lambert, Leland Lambert, Claude Lambert, sisters Louise Kephart, Jean Cook, Nellie Jenkins, Ruth Boley and Belle Fincham. She is survived by her daughter Robin K. DeBow, former son in law Darryl DeBow, son H. David Saunders his wife Margaret S. Saunders, grandchildren Krista Regan and her husband Charles Regan, Brennan DeBow, Jenna DeBow, Dylan B. Saunders, James P. Saunders, great grandchild Lilah Regan and a huge extended family of beloved nieces, nephews and their extended families.

She was a longtime member of both the Leesburg United Methodist Church and 'The Loudoun Rebekah Lodge No. 46' where she served as Noble Grand as well as other offices.

In lieu of flowers, she requested donations be made to the 'UMW Georgia W. Bange Scholarship'. Donations to the fund may be made to Leesburg United Methodist Church with the memo of "GWB Scholarship", and mailed to Leesburg United Methodist Church, 107 West Market Street, Leesburg, VA 20176 or a charity of your choosing.

Visitation will be Saturday, March 17, 2018 at 10:00 am with the funeral following at 11:00 am at the Colonial Funeral Home, 201 Edwards Ferry Road NE, Leesburg, Virginia 20176.
