Obituary
Nell-Jane Sherwood Haase, 86, of Fairfax died February 18 at The Virginian Nursing Center. She was born February 25, 1928 in Arlington, Virginia.
She was an administrative assistant for the government, lived abroad in Paris, France for 2 years before marrying and raising three children.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Percy and Julia Sherwood and husband Gerold Haase. She is survived by a brother, James Sherwood of NY; a sister, Sue Wiggins of Harrisonburg, VA; two sons, Peter Haase (Gina) of Gardnerville, NV and Robert Haase (Cheryl) of Springfield, VA; one daughter, Heidi Tucker (Sam) of Chantilly, VA; seven grandchildren, and six great grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be at 4:00pm March 1 at The Virginian. There will be a private family graveside service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Virginian Employee Fund. Checks should be made to "AVR" and Nell's name in the memo. Mail to The Virginian, c/o AVR, 9229 Arlington Blvd, Fairfax, VA 22031.
