LEESBURG, VA—Nina Janice Arnhols, 66, of Leesburg VA, formally of Fairfax, VA, died suddenly on Sunday, August 16, 2015 at Heritage Hall in Leesburg, VA.
Born in Atlanta, GA on October 24, 1948, Janice was the daughter of the late Mildred and Lt. Col. Daniel Arnhols. As an Army brat, Janice quickly learned that her sweet smile and happy disposition could win over hearts, which she did until the very end.
Janice graduated from Munich American High School in Munich, Germany and enrolled in the University of Maryland in Munich, Germany. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Maryland in College Park, MD in 1972 and a Masters of Arts degree in Teaching from Antioch College in 1974.
Janice worked for the Federal Government for over 18 years before taking disability retirement. Her brother, Daniel Arnhols and wife Debbie of Boise, ID, sister, Carol Bowling and husband Curtis of Oakton, VA, four nieces and nephews, and their respective spouses, and three great nieces and one great nephew survive her.
The family would like to extend their gratitude for the care, devotion, and love Janice received throughout her many years as a resident at Heritage Hall.
Graveside services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 21, 2015 in Union Cemetery, Leesburg, Virginia.
