Obituary
Patrick J. Trexler, 69 of Herndon, Virginia, formerly of Altoona, Pennsylvania died Saturday afternoon at Reston Hospital Center, Reston, Virginia.
He was born in Altoona, son of the late John and Marie Trexler. He is survived by his two children, daughter, Kathleen and husband Shawn Benson and son Michael and wife Carla (Palazzi). He was preceded in death by his son Mark. He had 7 grandchildren, Lauren, Travis, Emily, McCaul, Ryan, Dylan and AJ. He is also survived by two brothers, Jim of Altoona, and Ed of Elmira New York.
He recently relocated from Myrtle Beach upon diagnosis of Lou Gehrig's disease (ALS) and enjoyed the past year in the Northern Virginia area with his family.
Friends and family will be received on Tuesday November 25th for a visitation from 10:00 am to 11:00 am with a service starting at 11:00 am at Colonial Funeral Home in Leesburg, Virginia. Interment will be at Arlington National Cemetery at a future date.
