Patty Muncy Kelley, 81, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend passed in her home February 2, 2024, surrounded by family.

Patty was born on June 7, 1942, in Loudoun County, VA, the 12th child of Orville and Maude (Adams) Muncy.

Mrs. Kelley worked as an administrative assistant throughout her career, most notably for the U. S. Geological Survey.

In addition to her parents, Patty was preceded in death by her husband, Brian T. Kelley, her sisters Geneva Steadman and Betty Gregory, and her brothers R. L., William, Ralph, Clifford, Paul Edward, and David.

She is survived by her daughters Kimberly Jewell Harrell (Allen) of Richmond, VA, Trish Jewell Sutherland (Rodney) of Harper's Ferry, WV, Stepchildren Shawn Kelley of Boonton, NJ and Colleen Hale (Ray) of Vandalia, OH. Her grandchildren include Emily Harrell, Kayla Kelley and Allison Hale, Christopher and Olivia Kelley. Sisters include Lois Simpson and Peggy Shugars of Loudoun County and Barbara Moore (Lee) of Mason, OH. She was blessed with her many nieces and nephews, but is especially thankful to Michelle Lindsey, Barry Simpson, and Christy Herrell during this journey.

Whether you know her as Mom, Patty, Grandma Patty, Aunt Pat, Miss Patty, or one of the "Dairy Queens", please know she loved you all.
