Paul Andrew Mallory, 70, died peacefully in his sleep on May 8, 2024 in the company of his loving wife of 45 years, Sandi. In addition to Sandi, Paul is survived by his children, Megan Mallory Lopez and her husband Phillip of Dumfries, VA; Patrick Mallory and his wife Rachel of Arlington, VA and grandchildren, Anna and Sarah; sister Mary Smith of Lovettsville, VA; and brother Ronald Mallory also of Lovettsville, VA. He was preceded in death by his mother, Margaret Rita Mallory and father, Paul F. Mallory.

Paul was a loving father, husband, grandfather, and friend to everyone. But, if you mess with any of his guitars, you'd better run and hide for your life. Paul loved Eric Clapton, family, music, beer, and sports…in that particular order some would jokingly claim. Dedicated to providing for his family, he worked tirelessly for Gannett for 36 years before retiring with his wife to Port Orange, Florida. He spent his free time strumming his favorite tunes on his collection of guitars while performing with various local bands. If he wasn't playing music or rooting for his favorite sports teams, he was convincing himself that Bigfoot was alive and well and waiting to be found. He was our rockstar. But most importantly, he was and will always be Sandi's "Forever Man."

A special thank you to the people at Halifax Hospice in Port Orange, Florida for their loving care and support during his final days. Also, the family would like to extend their sincerest gratitude towards Colonial Funeral Home in Leesburg, VA for being very accommodating and understanding during this difficult time.

Visitation and viewing will be from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM at Colonial Funeral Home on Thursday, May 16, 2024. Paul will be laid to rest near his parents at the Union Cemetery in Leesburg, Virginia after the viewing.
