Paz Salvador Galang

February 1, 1953 – February 7, 2020

Paz Salvador Galang, mother of two, passed away Friday, February 7, 2020 at the age of 67.

Paz is survived by her husband of 31 years, Efren Yu Galang; her children, daughter, Katherine Galang Godwin and son, Kevin Scott Galang as well as her siblings Salvador Salvador, Rogelio Salvador, Edgardo Salvador, Raymond Salvador, Elizabeth Salvador and all her nieces and nephews.

Paz Galang was born on February 1, 1953 in the Philippines to Felicisimo Salvador and Gloria Salvador. She received her bachelor's degree in accounting from Saint Joseph's College and passed the board exam to become a distinguished CPA. She continued to work in accounting while living in the Philippines and excelled in her field.

She married Efren Yu Galang on March 18, 1989 in the Philippines and later that year she moved to the United States and became a US citizen in 1993. While living in the US, she worked very hard to provide for and raise her family and even after she stopped working, she still wanted the best for everyone. She was a loving mother to her children and took care of them well.

The family will receive friends for a viewing on Thursday, February 7, 2020 from 10 AM to 12 PM at Colonial Funeral Home in Leesburg, VA. Interment to follow at Union Cemetery.
