Peggy Simpson Graham, after a courageous battle with cancer, passed away peacefully at home in Hamilton on July 12, 2009. Peggy was born in Lucketts to the late J. Blakely and Eva (Athey) Simpson. Peggy graduated from Leesburg High School and worked as a legal secretary for over 40 years. During retirement, Peggy worked part-time at the Rust Library in Leesburg. She was a member of Leesburg Baptist Church for over 40 years and Hamilton Baptist Church for over 25 years.

Peggy leaves behind to share her memories her husband of 53 years, Kenneth Graham; a daughter, Shawn Rebecca Headley of Cary, NC; a brother, James Simpson of Leesburg; and two granddaughters, Jill and Erin.

Family and friends are invited to visit at Colonial Funeral Home, 201 Edwards Ferry Rd. Leesburg, VA on July 17, 2009 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. The memorial service will start at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Colonial Funeral Home. Inurnment will be at Union Cemetery following the service.
