Peter A. Fedyszen, formerly of Brooklyn, New York, Massapequa, New York, and
Vero Beach, Florida passed away on February 15, 2019.

He served in the United States Navy during World War II. He graduated from New
York University with a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Arts in Education
Administration.

He was a secondary school teacher at Uniondale Public Schools for 34 years and also
served as the District Chairperson, Social Studies Department.
Beloved son of Anna and Joseph Fedyszyn. Survivors include his wife of 57 years,
Mary A. Fedyszen, his daughters, Denise Powers (Jeff), Anne Fedyszen, and his sons,
Peter J. Fedyszen (Michelle), and Joseph Fedyszen and four grandchildren (Ryan,
Brendan, Nicholas, and Katherine).

A mass to honor his life will be held at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Gainesville,
Virginia on Saturday, February 23, 2019 at 1:30 p.m.

Interment will be held at Arlington National Cemetery with full Military Honors.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
