Raechel Anne Macpherson

August 2, 1982 - April 16, 2019

Rae was born in Southern California on August 2, 1982 to her surviving parents Michael and Michelle Macpherson. She moved to Northern Virginia in 2003, resided in Leesburg, and married Michael Franzen in 2016.

Rae's passing on April 16th was tragic and has her family shocked and grief stricken. She was beautiful, clever, sparkly, silly, funny, generous, spontaneous, profane, loyal, original and loving. She was well loved and will be deeply, terribly missed.

She is survived by her two brothers Josh and Brad, daughter Veda, adopted son Alex, and their father Alonso Andrade. She is also survived by her grandparents Micky Macpherson, Diane Tomkinson and James Pogue. Too numerous to count are aunts, uncles, cousins, and a special niece Mclaine, who all loved her very much.

Rae had more friends than can be imagined. She was incredibly loyal by nature and was always ready to help a friend in need.

We have all lost our bright star.

A special remembrance of her life will be held on May 5th. Details are available from her family and close friends who are making arrangements.
