Raymond Allan Sheeley, 78, passed away peacefully on October 11, 2026.

A proud United States Army veteran of the Vietnam War, Raymond dedicated 37 years to volunteering with Disabled American Veterans (DAV). He retired as an IT project manager and later returned to work with the Department of Veterans Affairs.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene Norito Sheeley and Margaret Myhr; his wife, Priscilla Jane Sheeley (Willcox); and his sister, Elizabeth Demotte.

He is survived by his children, Kimberly Guertin (Mike), Heather Sheeley-Johns (Kai), and Allan Sheeley; grandchildren, Allison, Michael, and Benjamin Guertin; and many beloved cousins and friends.

Raymond was known for his love of family, friends, sports, music, and his sense of humor. He will be fondly remembered for his dedication to service, devotion to family, and unwavering spirit. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

A Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am where a service will begin at 11:00 am at Colonial Funeral Home of Leesburg, 201 Edwards Ferry Rd., NE., Leesburg, VA  20176.
