Rebecca Sinclair Lipscomb,59, of Landsdown, VA passed away Tuesday February 15, 2011at her home following a lengthy illness.

A funeral service will be held at Colonial Funeral Home in Leesburg, Virginia on February 21, 2011 at 1:00p.m. followed by a graveside service. Flowers may be sent to the funeral home; 201 Edwards Ferry Rd,. NE, Leesburg Virginia 20176. Born January 10, 1952 in Washington D.C. , she was the daughter of the late Samuel Ross Lipscomb and Jeanne Vesey . Becky is survived by her brother and sister in law, William and Carolyn Lipscomb of Purcellville; two half brothers Wade Vesey and Samuel Lipscomb; two step brother, Greg Lipscomb and Ronnie Mitchell; she has seven nieces and nephews, Jenny and Daniel Lipscomb, Gregory and Michelle Mitchell, Blake and Annie Vesey, and Corsette Lipscomb. She also is has a great grand nephew Owen Hampton.

Becky graduated Flint Hill High School in 1970 and the Brooks Institute of Photography in 1976. She worked service industry jobs throughout her life, it brought her great joy to help and service others. She was deeply loved by her family and will be greatly missed.
