Obituary
Richard Henry Gordy, Jr. passed away on December 3, 2015. He was 76 years old. He and his wife, Shirley, made their home in Ashburn, Virginia.
Born in Richmond, Virginia he was the proud son of Richard Henry Gordy, Sr. and Marguerite Anderson Gordy. Staff Sergeant Richard Gordy proudly served his country during his time spent in the United States Marine Corp. Holding a bachelors degree, he worked as an Electrical Engineer with Verizon. In his spare time, Richard loved to read; especially anything that satisfied his interest in Math.
Richard will be dearly missed. But his memories will be cherished by the loved ones he leaves behind.
A memorial service is scheduled for 1:00 pm on Tuesday, December 8, 2015 at Colonial Funeral Home, 201 Edwards Ferry Road NE, Leesburg, Virginia 20176.
