Obituary
Rita Jeanne Meredith, 55 of Leesburg, Virginia passed away on Sunday, April 19, 2015.
Born May 8, 1959 in Danbury, Connecticut, one of six children, she was a daughter of Jean Hopkins and the late Anthony Stankiewicz.
Rita was a beloved mother and wife, a friend to many, and enjoyed being around people. She studied Communications at Western Connecticut State University, and worked for many years at Danbury Hospital in Connecticut as their personable PC Coordinator. She was married to Shaun Meredith and they had their first child and moved to Leesburg in 1999. She was an active member of several churches throughout her life.
She is survived by her children Krysta Nicole Meredith and Rachel Ceana Meredith as well as her mother, Jean Stankiewicz.
There will not be a public service per her wishes.
A private memorial gathering for family members will be held at a later date.
The family is grateful for the outpouring of affection and sorrow from friends.
