Leesburg, Virginia resident Robert Joseph Doyle, Sr. passed away on May 22, 2009. He was one of five children born in Camden, New Jersey to Henry and Bernice (Hurley) Doyle on March 3, 1930.
Mr. Doyle was in sales with the Quaker Oats Company. He served time in the United States Navy. He was married to Mary Jane Doyle. They had six children: Mary Katherine MacFarlane; Robert Joseph Doyle, Jr.; Christopher Cowan Doyle; Patrick Michael Doyle; Megan Mary Byle; Stephanie Ann Doyle.
Along with his children he is survived by 11 grandchildren, three sisters: Judy Degrasse; Sara Blackburn; Alice Walton and two brothers: Michael Doyle and William Doyle. He was predeceased by his parents.
Services will be private.
