IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Robert "Bob"
Duane Hullihen
December 5, 2025
Robert "Bob" Duane Hullihen, 77, of Vineland, New Jersey, passed peacefully into the presence of our Lord on Friday, December 5th, surrounded by his loving family, after a prolonged battle with cancer.
The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to his entire medical team and caregivers, as well as to Amy and Chris Sargent for their exceptional support. A special and sincere thank-you is also given to dear family friend Nina Dutra.
Bob is survived by the mother of his children, Emma (Scull), and his devoted partner of the last ten years, Betty Sees. He leaves behind his children Matthew (Lori), Timothy (Cheryl), and Amy Sargent (Chris); and his seven beloved grandchildren—Amanda (Rob), Carli (Jake), Sarah, Lauren, Liliana, Avalyn, and his only grandson, Chase—who were his greatest joy. He is also survived by his siblings and their families: Ritch (Diana), Bill (Terry), and Cathy.
He was predeceased by his parents, Samuel and Dorothy, and his brother Ronald.
Born in Johnstown, PA, Bob spent his childhood and teenage years in Cambria County, growing up in Bethel Hill, Belsano, and Twin Rocks. After graduating from Blacklick Township High School in 1965, he moved to Vineland, New Jersey, where he met Emma, and together they raised their three children.
At just 19 years old, Bob began his lifelong career as an apprentice in the Atlantic City Labor Union #121 as a plumber/pipe-fitter. He went on to work proudly and diligently for more than 50 years with Local Union #322. His strong work ethic was evident in every aspect of his life—at home, on the job, and in the countless ways he helped family, friends, and neighbors.
Bob enjoyed the music of his era, relaxing in Ocean City, cheering on the Phillies and Eagles, tending to his yard, and admiring classic vehicles. More than anything, Bob treasured time spent with his grandchildren, who brought him endless pride, purpose, and happiness.
He lived with honesty, integrity, and deeply rooted values. Bob was known for his positive, can-do spirit and his unwavering willingness to help others. He often reminded those around him: "It all comes back to us," "Always get in the giving line—because it's shorter and far more rewarding," and "Always remember who you are."
His legacy of kindness, generosity, and love will continue to guide and inspire all who knew him. Bob will be profoundly missed and forever cherished by his family and friends.
