Robert Quin Montgomery died on October 12, 2011 in Leesburg, Virginia. Robert was born on December 29, 1955 in Norfolk, Virginia. He attended Rumson Country Day School, Lawrenceville, and Denison University. He began his insurance brokerage career at Marsh and McLennan. He also worked at Johnson and Higgins, then at Sedgwick, and later, at Armfield, Harrison and Thomas. Robert is survived by his loving companion, Tammy Morrison Lucas and daughter, Zoe Alexander Lucas, his mother, Harriett Giordano Chaney, his sister, Chloe Smeed and her husband David, and predeceased by his father, S. Phelps Montgomery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to an animal shelter of your choice. Robert will be greatly missed by all his family and friends.
