Robert Lee Wingfield passed away after a long illness on April 12, 2016. He was the loving husband of Maureen V. Wingfield, devoted brother to Burwell Wingfield and Sarella Wolff; dedicated father to Cheryl Wingfield (deceased), Steven L. Wingfield, and Mark R. Bothe; enthusiastic grandfather to Allyn Lee Wingfield, Christopher Lee Wingfield, Madison Grace Bothe, and great-grandson Thomas John Wingfield.

Mr. Wingfield was born in Tampa, Florida, on December 10, 1936, the eldest son of Robert H. and Millie L. Wingfield.

A funeral mass will be offered at 1:00pm Friday, April 15, 2016, at St. John the Apostle Catholic Church, Leesburg, VA 20176. Burial will follow at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
