Paniagua Roca
May 15, 1995 – March 31, 2026
Rolando Paniagua passed away on March 31, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of resilience, profound love, and an unwavering spirit. A devoted husband, a new father, and a warrior since childhood, Rolando’s life was defined by the courage with which he faced every challenge. Having received a life-saving liver transplant at the young age of eight, he moved through the world with a deep appreciation for the gift of time, never letting his health struggles dim his kindness or his drive to build a beautiful life.
Years ago, Rolando met the love of his life, Alejandra. Their connection grew into a deep and enduring bond, culminating in a beautiful marriage three years ago. The greatest joy of Rolando’s life arrived just nine months ago with the birth of their child. Though his time as a father was far too short, the home he and Alejandra built together was one filled with immeasurable joy, laughter, and hope for the future.
In recent months, Rolando faced a rapid decline in his health. He fought with the same bravery that defined his youth, eventually undergoing an emergency surgery after a donor was found. Despite his valiant efforts and the tireless support of his medical team and loved ones, complications arose that he could not overcome. He fought a brave fight until the very end, centered by his love for his family.
Rolando is survived by his beloved wife, Alejandra; their cherished nine-month-old baby; his parents, Raul and Rosio; and a devoted extended family who stood by him through every trial. His memory will be held closely by the countless friends and family who were touched by his gentle soul and his remarkable strength.
In honor of Rolando’s memory, a GoFundMe has been established to support Alejandra and their child as they navigate the heartbreaking loss and the unexpected financial burdens that follow. The family expresses their deepest gratitude for the kindness, prayers, and compassion shown during this incredibly difficult time.
