Roma Marie James of Baltimore, Maryland passed away on April 5, 2011. Roma was born in Loudoun County, Virginia on November 12, 1935 to parents Esta May (Smallwood) and Charles William Clarence Bishop. Roma is survived by her children: Anthony A. James, Herbert D. James, Donna M. Hamblen, Sheila R. Mackey, Warren N. James, Timothy S. James and Paula J. Craze; and sister Veta Marlene Edelen. Also survived by 18 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, William B. James; son Robert G. James and brothers, Clarence L. (Pete) Bishop and Charles Thomas Bishop.

A Funeral Service is planned for 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 9, 2011 in the Colonial Funeral Home Chapel, 201 Edwards Ferry Rd. NE, Leesburg, VA 20176. Interment to follow at Union Cemetery, Leesburg, VA.
