Ronald Herman Costello, 71, of Stephens City, VA, formerly of Leesburg, VA died on December 20, 2012. Mr. Costello was born April 16th 1941 in Leesburg, VA; son of the late William "Herman" Costello and Katherine Newton Costello.

He worked for the ABC Board in Loudoun County for 32 years and was formerly employed as Chief Deputy of Loudoun County Sheriff's Department for 12 years. He married Carol Ann Barnes Costello January 22, 1977 in Leesburg, VA.

Surviving with his wife are two daughters Sharon Costello Collette of Winchester, VA; Catherine Costello McCoy of Bealeton, VA and two sons Steven Ronald Costello of Winchester; Shaun Herman Costello of Manassas, VA. He is also survived by two step-children Joseph Neff of Mount Airy, MD; Kim Williams of Point of Rocks, MD. He is survived by one brother Donald G. Costello of Manassas, VA, an aunt Phyllis Titus, and one uncle Dale Lee Newton. He has thirteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

VISITATION HOURS HAVE CHANGED TO THURSDAY, DECEMBER 27, 2012 AT COLONIAL FUNERAL HOME, 201 EDWARDS FERRY ROAD, NE., LEESBURG, VA FROM 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. A graveside service will be held immediately following at 1:00 p.m. at Union Cemetery, Leesburg, VA. A fellowship and lunch will follow at Leesburg Baptist Church. Pallbearers will be Joseph Collette, Douglas Crotinger, Anthony DiMaio, John McCoy, Joseph Neff, and Robert Williams. Honorary Pallbearers will be Bennie Allison, J.C. Barnes, Barrett Everhart, Donald Mantz, Sid Mercer and William Rutter.
